Notes #
Track interactions and maintain contact history by documenting calls, emails, meetings, tasks, and observations.
Note Types #
PloverCRM provides five note types:
- Call – Phone conversations and voicemails
- Email – Email correspondence
- Meeting – In-person or virtual meetings
- Task – Action items and to-dos
- Note – General observations

Adding a Note #
- Open contact in edit mode
- Scroll to Notes section
- Click Add Note
- Fill in:
- Type: Select category (required)
- Title: Brief summary (required)
- Description: Detailed information (optional)
- Date/Time: Defaults to now, can be backdated (optional)
- Click Add Note

Note Examples #
Call:
Title: Follow-up call - discussed pricing
Description: Interested in Enterprise plan. Budget: $50k annually.
Next step: Send proposal by Friday.
Meeting:
Title: Product demo - 30 minutes
Description: Demonstrated key features. Action: Send technical docs.
Task:
Title: Send proposal
Description: Enterprise plan for 100 users. Due: Friday, Feb 10.

Best Practices #
- Be specific: Include dates, names, and numbers
- Be timely: Add notes immediately after interactions
- Be actionable: Include next steps and follow-up dates
- Use consistent formats for each note type
Permissions #
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
| Super Admin | Full access to all notes |
| CRM Manager | All contacts |
| CRM Agent | Own contacts only |

Troubleshooting #
Cannot add note: Verify permissions and required fields are filled.
Note not appearing: Refresh page and check note type filter.
