Update the Lead Stage or Status
Keep a lead’s pipeline stage, status, and deal value current from the lead details screen when those controls are available to your role.
Before you start #
- Open the lead in the active workspace.
- Confirm that you have permission to update the lead or its associated deal.
- Make sure the correct deal is selected if the lead has more than one deal.
Change the pipeline stage #
- Open Lead Details.
- On the lead header, locate the current stage.
- Tap the stage value or its edit control.
- Select the new pipeline stage.
- Wait for the update to finish.
The available stages come from the active pipeline. A stage editor is shown only when the selected deal and your permissions allow the change.

Update the lead status #
- Open the lead details fields.
- Find Status when it is available.
- Tap the field’s edit control.
- Select or enter the new status value.
- Save the change.
Status options and edit access depend on the workspace field configuration.
Update the deal value #
If the lead has a selected deal and the value is editable:
- Locate Value in the lead header.
- Tap the value or its edit control.
- Enter the new amount.
- Save the change.
The displayed currency follows the workspace configuration.
What happens next #
PloverCRM refreshes the lead details and shows the new stage, status, or value wherever the field is displayed.
Troubleshooting #
The stage cannot be changed
The lead may not have a selected deal, the pipeline may have no available stages, or your role may not have permission to update the deal. Ask a workspace administrator to review access.
Status is not shown
Status may be hidden, unavailable for the current workspace, or restricted by field permissions. Use the fields shown on your screen rather than entering a value in an unavailable field.
